Julia LOVES cupcakes. Here she is sharing one with her friend Gwendolyn at Sawyer's birthday party. She, Gwendolyn, and Sawyer have known each other since they were only a few weeks old. Got to love that blue frosting!
 

Saturday at San Gregorio

A bowl of cereal, 2 year old style

While I was otherwise occupied, Julia found her way into the pantry and to her favorite cereal. Before I knew it, she'd poured herself a bowl. This was the result. She kept saying: "I make a mess, Mommy!"
Yep, she sure did.
 

Family Fun Day: Walk along the Beach

We're starting what we hope will become a regular weekly tradition: Saturday family fun day. Our goal is to plan on a fun outing or family event every Saturday morning. We started last weekend with a trip to Half Moon bay. We took a walk along the paved path above the Poplar Avenue beach. Julia had so much fun carrying "Daddy's lunchbox" (his camera bag), and pushing the double stroller. Our goal next Saturday is to head back to HMB, but this time make it down to the sand!
