Playdate with Gwendolyn

It's tough to take pictures of one fast moving toddler, much less trying to coordinate two! There's no such thing as getting them both in the same space, facing the camera, smiling at the same time. Try as we might have, this was the best we could do!

Sunset at Bean Hollow

Jeff's trip to Bean Hollow resulted in this spectacular sunset shot. For more of Jeff's photography, visit his web site:

Baby Brother's new bedding

We picked out the crib bedding for "baby brother" who is coming in just over 3 months now. Here is a picture of the quilt that came with the bedding set. No, I didn't make it -- I'm not that advanced! But I will make a simpler quilt that picks up some of the brighter colors in this quilt, to complement it. And this afternoon Grammy came with Julia and me to the store to pick out a glider for the new nursery. It will have a fuzzy green cushion and should look great! Thanks, Grammy for helping me pick it out!

Definitely Pregnant!

Well, there's no hiding it now. I'm looking VERY pregnant, with more than 3 months to go, believe it or not. Must be a big boy in there! Posted by Picasa

Date Night

We had a rare and wonderful night out, thanks to Jody who came over to watch Julia. Great meal at Oak City in Menlo Park, sitting up on the counter watching the food preparation. Thank you Jody! Posted by Picasa

Visit from Grandpa

Grandpa ("Bumpa" or "Papa") leans down for a kiss from Julia at the end of our usual Friday afternoon visit.

Dinner time

Dinner time is a nightly event, obviously, so I rarely think to take pictures of it, but the other night I decided to capture this everyday occurance. This is what dinner looks like at about 18 months old...

Playing in the front room with daddy

Julia loves to pull Daddy into the front room when he comes home from work, where he turns on the stereo and they dance and play to the music. She loves to pull up the little footstool and climb up and down, on and off of the couch.
