Andrew stood up all by himself

In the middle of the floor, holding onto nothing, he stood up! He stayed standing for a few moments, looking pleased with himself, and then he plunked back down on his bottom. Very exciting.

Family gathering in Ojai

Susan and Paul hosted an absolutely lovely weekend trip to the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa last weekend, to help celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. It was a gorgous location and so much fun to spend time with the whole extended family, which we don't get too many chances to do. What a treat for us. Andrew's first tooth makes an appearance

Big News! On Sunday March 4th (Andrew is 9 and a half months old) we saw-- or rather felt -- the presence of Andrew's first tooth pushing its way out! It was clearly there, barely visible on Sunday, but today a mere 5 days later, it's clearly visible in flashes of white when Andrew smiles. Still too small to easily catch with the camera, but you can be sure a picture of Andrew's new toothy smile will be coming soon!
